“We seek to love our neighbor through consistent service, intentional relationships, and faithful disciple-making.”

We believe God formed the local church as the means for the redemption and restoration of his people, and to truly bless our city we should channel our efforts to that end. As we seek to meet practical needs and bring Kingdom renewal in Atlanta (Isaiah 58:10, Matthew 22:36-40, 1 John 3:17-18), we share the hope of the gospel and the invitation to join in the gathering of his people.

We want to serve those in need and walk with them through discipleship, convinced that only with both do we display God’s design for human flourishing (1 Thess. 2:8, Matt. 28:19-20).

We have three focus areas to help guide our efforts, with internal ministries and/or external partnerships under each one.

Community Flourishing

Atlanta is a city of both great wealth and immense poverty. Certain communities approximate to Christ Covenant face lower education and income levels as well as fewer employment opportunities compared to the rest of the city. Community Flourishing is our way of ministering to vulnerable communities through strategic partnerships that address spiritual, social, and economic needs across our city.

Refugee Care

Clarkston, a city less than 15 miles from downtown Atlanta, stands as one of the largest refugee resettlement sites in the United States. Over 45% of Clarkston's residents are internationally born and half of these live below the poverty line. These refugees face many challenges as they adjust to a new culture, language, and community. We believe that God has strategically placed Christ Covenant in proximity to this community to extend the love of Christ to our refugee neighbors.
