A Praying Ministry, Not Just a Prayer Ministry
Christ Covenant is a fast-growing, large church with many members and ministries. Knowing for what and how to pray can be overwhelming. This page is intended to lower the bar of entry and greatly reduce the friction we feel in knowing where to start and how to consistently and strategically pray in an ongoing manner for our church and beyond.
WHY THIS MINISTRY
All prayer needs and content are curated and tagged across two complementary frameworks — enabling you to engage prayer that is both scripturally grounded and covenant-community focused.

HOW WE PRAY

Coming before God in humility, acknowledging sin, and receiving His forgiveness.
Giving thanks in all circumstances, recognizing God’s provision and faithfulness.

Bringing personal petitions and requests before the throne of grace with confidence.

PRAYING THROUGH SCRIPTURE
“Using Scripture as a guide to shape and give language to your prayers” — Covenant Wheel, pp. 51–52
Not only does God tell us to pray and give examples of prayer in the Bible, Scripture, as the very word of God, gives us the language for our praying. The surest way to pray in accordance with God’s will and reshape our hearts to conform to His will is to pray His words back to Him.
The Covenant Wheel provides a structured, Scripture-saturated framework for prayer. Use it alongside Donald Whitney’s Praying the Bible to move from duty to delight in prayer.
The Covenant Wheel
Praying for the proclamation and reception of the good news of Jesus Christ.
Gospel
Kingdom
Praying for Christ’s reign to be visible in our families, church, and culture.
Mission
Praying for Reach the World partnerships and global gospel advance.
